The Hugo is absolute garbage these days.
Quickly looking at the Nebula, it looks like no male has won in 6 years, but 20% of recent winners are trans ...so, that suggests it's another "identity" award.
Dragon is ok.
Prometheus is pretty based

I can say that 30-40% of all the teen books I get in new are LGBT+, (and heavy-handed) about 90% female authored, and 80-90% geared to average female readers and LGBT+ readers. Not that they’re popular. Most if them I end up pulling 2 years later having never gone out.
Do you place any merit in sci fi awards still? I found some of my favorite novels from the Hugo and Nebula awards but they were all published a decade+ ago.
