There's a whole lot of 1st person SFF I've enjoyed, but I think it takes a special kind of talent to pull it off without the character knowing more than he should about what's going on.

Obviously I'm biased. Blackcoats is first person, but I also sprinkle in these little epistolary stuff inbetween some chapters, like police reports, news articles, etc. so you have some information the narrator doesn't regarding what the villains are up to or whatever
