There was a bathroom built with all toddler-sized fixtures. Low counter, small sink, tiny toilet about 12" off the ground. It's 5' down the hall from a real bathroom.

One of the bedrooms has its light switches in the hallway. You can sense the theme - this all makes sense if you have little kids (they did) but somehow don't expect them to ever age.

My office has - no exaggeration - 86 power outlets, and about 40 ethernet jacks. This is coincidentally convenient for me, but is super freaking weird and definitely an anti-feature in any normal sense.

Oh, and there's a framed hole in the wall between my office and the coat closet in the house's entryway! I almost forgot about that b/c it's been covered with a whiteboard for years.
