2/ That was absolutely amazing, because I knew that 6 months later he'd be applying for a variance (as he did) and 12 months later we'd be in court (as we are now scheduled for) and ... one mandatory prong of getting a variance in NH is showing that there's no other legal spot.

4/ so what he's trying to do is explain, one guy to another, "this location makes sense bc it wouldn't require any bulldozing" ...but... that's not what the variance law requires What he's ACTUALLY doing is saying "I have no valid need for a variance, I just want to save money"
