For memiors, at least, there's typically three tiers of ghost writing pricing for those who do it, from cheapest to most expensive, full credit as coauthor including on spine, a with credit in a less obvious location, and finally uncredited.

And now seeing the quoted prices and thinking yah those make sense with the justification, it seems like a steal when you look at the advances that politicians and others get paid.
