i think that to say that this is a repudiation of christianity makes a few assumptions i find questionable

first it assumes that the triune god has obligations etc in the same way that humans do, which i don't think works, quite second, it imports versions of the atonement that i am not convinced of

Not sure I get the issue. If they can consent and do consent voluntarily (not an easy claim), then it seems fair? If the point is that getting consent isn't enough for "wild" outcomes, since consent could be false, that's ok but it's a mistake in the question formulation.
