/ no, I already use org-mode and outline-mode in writing the novels what I need (and what spreadsheets are already proving their worth for) is a 2 dimensional grid where I can see subplots vs time on one axis, and time on the other axis.https://twitter.com/TailsOnRails/status/1453747393497911306 …

/ you joke, but I've thought about this Gantt is overblown bc it allows longer and shorter tasks, and for dramatic purposes I want synchronization points where things are FORCED to all happen at the same time that's actually super key >>>https://twitter.com/DavidKMagnus/status/1453749369140826122 …

/ and in my spreadsheet I'm actually STARTING with those synchronization points first and then fitting plot points in around them I've got several days of just reviewing existing text files and filling in the grid...once that's done I'll be able to see the empty grid squarespic.twitter.com/22jGv5GGIE

/ some blank cells get filled with black bc that thread has terminated / merged with some other thread the remaining blank cells need content once that's done, each gets turned into 3-5 chapters (

/ (imagine expanding the precis for season 3 of some long-narrative-arc TV show into an overview of, say 10-12 episodes) And then once THAT's done, I can break each chapter into 3-5 beats I've already done half of this work, but it's scattered across 13 different txt files
