also, while outing yourself is allowed, it's impolite, i think, to tag in normal citizens who aren't in the threads/on twitter/whatever. anonymizing them is better.

Avoid giving them keywords to latch on to in order to tip of the neighbor, IMO. They may well find a way to strategize against you.

Making there be some effort really helps. When you just put it out there you are inviting the crazies. When you don't, it says you are a private person. I like being a private person, even though I'm easily doxable.
