Transporting stuff as bulk or breakbulk cargo is not terribly shocking to me. What I hear is fun though (from people who work in the specific field) is mass-transporting vaccines over long distances under a set constant cold temperature 100% of the time. Funny stories all around.
Yesterday I was reading about all the cruise ships being decommissioned/scrapped due to COVID choking out the whole industry. I wonder if the demand for the ability to haul bulk tonnage got high enough if repurposing those vessels suddenly comes on the table.
