I have 7 chickens on 3/4 of a suburban acre and when I let them range I can't find the eggs. Can't imagine finding them on either of your estates.

We have a pretty big chicken run in our backyard. I don't know exact dimensions because the shape is irregular, but maybe a thousand square feet for ten hens. They all come back to the coop to lay.

My issue with tractors is that they're mobile, so you have to haul feed and water to wherever they are instead of having a coop with running water and large feeders + feed bins. It's also easy to crush a bird or two under the tractor as you move it if you aren't careful.
