To use @wraithburn 's framing: there are two kinds of people: "doers" and "wishcasters" (people who explain what they want, with the hope that someone else will do it - i.e.
).
We have one doer: me.

3/ We have one wishcaster who has been pushed into the role of doer, and doesn't much like it, and doesn't do it with aplomb. We have several wishcasters - the person and his enablers who organized the goat rodeo and then WISHED that it would go away.

4/ It occurs to me that there are three quotes associated with the ur-doer archtype: - I solve problems. - I smelled some coffee back here. Make me a cup.

5/ - Get it straight buster - I'm not here to say please, I'm here to tell you what to do and if self-preservation is an instinct you possess you'd better fucking do it and do it quick. I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen.

TFW, can't tell if metaphor for some planned SNAFU you got roped into and would have otherwise avoided if you knew your role in it ahead of time, or a literal goat rodeo because it could go either way. Will probably call the former "goat rodeos" in the future, though. Thanks.

I came to this thread to find out if the goat rodeo was literal. I stayed for the pulp fiction reference.
