8/ Part of this is, yes, being willing to eat some crap on your employer's behalf, so it ties into shame culture vs honor culture, but that's not my primary point. My point is specifically that they often tend to offer PERSONAL excuses to get out of PERSONAL responsibility.

What you’re describing isn’t fault of millennial employees. It’s intentional corporate customer svc scripting. The more run-around they put you through, greater likelihood you’ll give up, and they keep your $. They get away with it because oligopoly. Restore antitrust enforcement
