3/ improved road pasture by * grazing sheep * fertilizing * brushhogging * spraying 2,4-D / 3,6-D * injecting knotweed w roundup * digging up roots of knotweed w pick * cutting & burning brush grazing is good but not a silver bullethttps://twitter.com/aspiringpeasant/status/1426966869622198273 …
4/ improved the future-cider-orchard by * crawling around on hands and knees and injecting 20,000 knotweed canes (not even sure I'm joking - like 1/2 an acre worth!) w Roundup * then digging up 20+ gallons roots w a pick every Saturday for two summers (that's 20 gal PER WEEK)
5/ * then chainsawing down all the scrub trees * then brushhogging every few months
6/ lawn is looking pretty good too (mowed this morning) ...but don't pay too much attention to the sorry state of the pasture beyond the lawn I know, I know I'm gonna work on itpic.twitter.com/pOpcidyim4
