Odds are good you qualify for MENSA. Local groups are a good way to find the other high-scoring people in your area. Note: scoring high on an IQ test doesn't mean you aren't an idiot, but at least you have a smaller group to search in.

Further note: people who *push* the fact that they're in MENSA tend to be ones to ignore. Kind of like people who get a nearly meaningless degree and insist on being called 'Dr.'

Been wondering if, perhaps, this trend will reverse. With cities becoming rather... unpleasant, perhaps more people will consider the country. Yes, the ones you point out probably won't do anything. But if you're a smart introvert... there's an appeal.
