When I was a kid, one of my favorite books was by a woman. “My Side of the Mountain” by Jean Craighead George. It’s a good yarn.

Also men tend to go offline when they hear 'teachable moment'. That usually means put your rational brain away and make her emotional interests the primary factor in enjoying what she tells you to enjoy.
