Is the goal to reach a resolution you can live with ASAP, or to get a judge to impose your maximalist outcome plus sanctions, or what? Different goals suggest different tactics.

maximalist outcome plus sanctions but, at a short term political level, I am focusing, Alinsky like, one just one target: the head of the zoning board, and avoiding attacking the selectmen

no, but there's one overlap between planning board and selectmen this is relevant bc we've got one guy who: * a selectman * a friend of Barn Guy * an abutter of Barn Guy * on planning board * spoke in favor of Barn project in 2018 * pushed zoning change to help Barn Guy

It is amazing how much a libertarian will go through to stop a man from building a barn on the man's own property.

*When his property is directly and adversely affected. Even in a libertarian system, this is a conflict requiring resolution. The placement of the barn caused the driveway to be a muddy mess that inhibits travel on his own land. Efforts to mitigate started from day one.
