2/ ...and the actual dollar outlay to pay 10 or so of these folks for short stories at "prevailing rates" (which are, sadly, no longer prevailing these days) isn't that terrible. So, I may someday publish an anthology series like Orbit or Nova, and hope to break even.

4/ There are anthologies being published this day - Clarke's World, Best SF of 202_, etc. ...but there's always room for more. Many anthologies have a theme, or an ideological bias. The theme I want for my anthology is that the stories are good.
