Thesis: various tasks and jobs have more or less agency (i.e. autonomy). OTOH, you can take even a low autonomy task and do it YOUR way. Which has more agency/autonomy?

3/ picture two chores around the house, one of which strikes you as high agency / room for creativity / choices / thinking, one as low. You get a new job, same hours and pay as old job. New job has MUCH more autonomy / agency...and lets you outsource one household task.
