3/ this was a TV armoire I bought used. Ethan Allen, hard wood, I think $350 or so (prob $1,500 new). Spent an hour unscrewing hardware / drawers / lazy susan, replaced back panel, fabbed up some extra shelves. I love the result.pic.twitter.com/rtwSZUVqLn

TV armoires as a class got kind of obsoleted by the continuing growth of TVs we have quite a nice one that we got for cheap, that still works fine for our merely ~40" TV
