I expect Collapse, but I'm a cynic. I think if Mr. Musk can get a colony going on Mars, he will rightly be considered the second most important man in all of human endeavor. Given the recent crypto manipulations, it does seem like he's determined to make his colony happen.

There are new frontiers that can come to us. AI/nanotech/advanced 3D printing could transform the economy and society. Those who learn to grasp the new technologies will climb, the grifters will have to beg to be carried. (There's malign versions of those, of course.)
