So long as we don't get a ton of bureaucratic roadblocks making it too expensive to build. I think a lot of people feel entitled to have a house in a very particular area; maybe this will help push them elsewhere.

$6B is a tiny number relatively, 0.018% of the value of all American homes. That is, unless my math sucks, if they bought twice this much housing this year, it would take a bit under 2800 years for them to buy up all American real estate.
