8/ sometimes this is a true preference, like how many people prefer to consume restaurant services over investing in a kitchen, cookbooks, and skills (bc the restaurant service gives them variety, more free time, etc.), and sometimes it's a FINANCIAL preference, bc a firm can do

I don’t think that everything benefits from scale equally law is a great example, federalism is good and we should have more of it I suspect *residential* property management of being another such domain
