Had a minor screwup with the bookcase project that prevented assembly yesterday--ran the finish on the shelves over the tongue of the shelves, instead of masking them off, making the tongues too thick to fit into the dados in the bookcase sides

The proper tool here, afaict, is a side rabbet plane, with which I could cleanly widen the dados the 32nd or whatever I need, but a couple quick passes with the dremel & a sanding drum to remove the finish seems to be doing fine.pic.twitter.com/eK4LwbyQ8g

Anyway, I am not a carpenter, just a dummy who bit off a Big Project and now has to see it through, but I'm optimistic these will turn out well.

Also, despite the fact that I'd almost certainly never use it again, and I've already committed to my solution to this mistake, I really want to drop the money for the side rabbet plane.
