4/ My 7.25 years on the farm have subjectively lasted perhaps twice that long there's so much to do, and a lot of novelty, and I'm newly revealed as incompetent in a dozen new things per week

5/ I released my first novels, what, 9, 10, 11 years back? No. The books shipped less than 4 years ago. In between I've been logging trees, fighting the town zoning board, killing knotweed, planning a cider orchard, butchering pigs, burning slash piles, and more.
