Regarding articles covering the UK nationals that are having to return to the UK from Spain following Brexit. There’s no defending petty criminals, tax cheats and Brexit voters are not the easiest to defend either.

There are some people that will certainly reap what they sow, but there are plenty of good people who’s lives and dreams have been shattered. They have been let down, misinformed, lied to by the UK government & subject to an inconsistent and ineffective bureaucracy here in Spain

I find the delight that some people are taking in the misfortune of others in the media and online very distasteful. I really thought is remainers were better than that. Turns out we aren’t and that’s nearly as sad a brexit itself.

right? you want to think "everyone who agrees with me on ____ is a good person, and it's those !@#-holes on the other team who dislike ___ that are bad" ...but there are decent people on both sides, and lots of !@#-holes :(
