2/ "a drunkard" on the town mailing list, and it turns out that he was on the mailing list, and he posted that I had to retract that or he'd sue me for defamation. So I did what any reasonable person would do in such a circumstance:

5/ Two years later he was arrested after being found passed out in a running car in a parking lot, surrounded by beer bottles. At which point I emailed him "I haven't received the paperwork for that defamation lawsuit re calling you a drunkard. You have my address, right?"
