4/ It's quite reasonable to be glad that someone that you think was harming the world is no longer doing so. I'm glad the RGB is no longer on the SCOTUS, and I feel perfectly good about saying that. ...but that's distinct from being glad she's dead.

5/ If you're a lefty, you think that Rush was doing terrible things - spreading misinformation and a terrible word-view to infect innocent minds. You should definitely be glad that he's no longer broadcasting, and there's no shame in that feeling.

6/ I suggest that we red and blues should strive to be glad that RBG and Rush are no longer doing bad things but to prefer a world where each of them retired from public life to play with their grandchildren, rather than the world where they died. Not for their sake, but ours.
