the word "creepy" is a very interesting sign - it's usually used when someone doesn't have an actual argument but they just want to associate a negative emotional valence with something women and leftists use it a lot

2/ lol, no, that's motte and bailey it largely means "this person IS a low status male", or "I want to discredit this idea by using the ad hominem that I DECLARE this person to be a low status male".https://twitter.com/ProbablyTooMuch/status/1362050326832971783 …

you know exactly what it means bro, it’s polite code (mostly among women) for what is being interpreted as predator-sociopath behavior

Being unattractive to men is called “Homely”, & is considered pitiable. Being unattractive to women is called “Creepy”, & is considered a moral failure. Indeed, it’s illegal.

The lack of an objective basis also makes it particularly difficult to refute. By saying "I'm not creepy", there is no evidence to offer, and the argument has moved to the degree of your creepiness. Yes, the left loves it.

Or they are trying to attach that valence to an objectively normal interaction in order to smear someone. See it used that way quite often.

The lack of argument doesn't matter in its original(?) context - some men make sexual approaches in highly inappropriate (and very unlikely to be successful) ways. However, some young women use it to mean "my advertising reached the wrong men".

And the thing is a lot of social skills are understood at a subconscious level, so often if they're violated you can't quite put your finger on what the problem is, it's just a gut feeling that it's creepy. But yes there are also girls who weaponize it or use it superficially.
