One thing I love about buying older used books is that people sometimes use random ephemera like business cards or postcards as bookmarks. You get a tiny glimpse of the life of the previous owner. Anyway, if anyone needs a freelance IBM s/34 programmer, I now know a guy.

Still big in finance; this is the first time I haven't had one since I started working. When I went into my dad's office after he died, I saw that he'd kept a business card from every job I'd had.
