The fact that when we "celebrate black history" we have to scrape the bottom of the barrel and pretend that minor agricultural scientist invented peanut butter, or one woman at NASA who helped do calculations were somehow pivotal heroes is odd. If there are tons of >>

African Americans who have done great things out there, why would we possibly be looking at these utterly non-notable "notables" ? Given that African Americans have an IQ bellcurve centered about 1 standard dev to the left of white Americans, it's not that surprising >>>

that even their +4 or +5 sigma outliers are no more impressive than a run-of-the-mill white, Asian, or Jewish engineer.

There is so much wrong with what you just said that I don’t know where to start. I encourage you to ask any black American about their ancestors’ experiences to learn what kind of generational disadvantages were inflicted on them rather than innate within them.

Your very first claim was that black Americans on average earn less. You’re leaving out the extreme generational disadvantages they’ve experienced. If your parents had grown up limited by Jim Crow laws, you’d be disadvantaged as well.

Your phrasing and your framing are inhumanly indifferent to the horrifying reasons for racial disparities in the US. You ever stop to think that maybe black American dominance in athletic competitions might have something to do with how black slaves were selected?

No because Africa had interior slave trade as well. I’m not going to teach you world history. Your position is contemptible.

"contempt" does not seem to be on the axis of "correct" or "incorrect". You started out saying that I was wrong. And yet you haven't contradicted any factual claims. This is a very low utility conversation, so far. Do you want to disagree with any of my factual claims?
