Increasingly my political philosophy can be boiled down to "the greatest threat to human liberty is globalism and the biggest examplar of globalism in the modern era is the American empire, so there can be no liberty while the empire stands." The isolationists were right.

Agreed it’d’ve been better had we not intervened, but were we actually that consequential in WWI? Tho we were a moderating influence at Versailles, maybe w/o us they would have utterly crushed Germany like Foch wanted, rather than impoverishing and insulting them.
