Perhaps. But we're at this point where everyone's getting lulled into a sense that everything's okay. You're personally insulated from a fair bit of the coming fallout. You stocked food and ammo anyway (due to 'rona). Some of us are surely less prepared. I hope they start.

If you were telling people HOW TO REACT, that would be useful. Instead you're telling them "be anxious and depressed". How does that make anything better? How does that help people?

I'd rather they read it as "don't get complacent" rather than "be anxious and depressed". Complacency is very easy. We're all used to it.

You can read it that way, but that's not what the words SAY. You can give useful advice, or you can create anxiety and depression. They are distinct messages, and you've chosen the latter.
