1/ I've got a CNC machine I built from a kit with terrible ergonomics - the keyboard and monitor sit atop the machine bed. This must be a solved problem that sysadmins face in server rooms all the time, right? I think I want a monitor stand & keyboard tray.

2/ The physical API is this: I have a big plywood box (the base) with a vertical side panel made of plywood that goes from the floor to 3' above the floor. I need something that will bolt to that, and then give me a tray and monitor at standing height. What to use?

3/ this? https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Adjustable-Workstation-Standing-STAND-SIT1DD/dp/B07L5QQL5H/ref=sr_1_16?crid=388LTYFWMJNMV&dchild=1&keywords=keyboard+monitor+tray&qid=1612347453&sprefix=Keyboard+monitor+tr%2Caps%2C331&sr=8-16 … something else? I want the RIGHT thing, and am happy to spend $50 more to do it right. 50% good enough is false economy. Recommendations, friends ?

4/ Two slight complications: - many monitor arms are designed to be clamped at the BACK edge of the desk. This is more like the FRONT edge. - because the CNC gantry will be traveling back and forth, I want to avoid intruding in the space behind the vertical plane.

5/ ...so maybe I'm looking more for things designed for "wall mount" scenarios than for "desk mount" ? Still think that server racks must have some related product that might fit well ...

Replying to @MorlockP
In datacenters, you usually just want a crash cart since the machines can operate without interface, but when you get permanent interface it tends to be 'rack-shaped'. You probably don't want that, so your linked solution is good. It looks like the top half of a crash cart.

You can assemble an alternative from parts like this: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Under-Desk-Keyboard-Tray/dp/B07BVKH74N … - https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-7619/Office-Desks/Standard-Desktop-Monitor-Mount-Dual … - or go AIO like https://mount-it.com/products/mount-it-single-monitor-sit-stand-desk-mount-w-keyboard-tray-mi-7921 … or your linked solution. Just have to verify "backwards" orientation works with the clamps. Grommet mount could solve clamp issues.
