One small thing that brings neurodiversity home is that whenever people post albums and are like "this is amazing" 99 percent of the time I'm like, meh

For me it’s not just that. I think (to myself) that I really like music but then some people describe their experience with music and I wonder if I’m missing some big part of it. I def realized that for many, concerts r a social experience more than musical, & one I don’t share

yeah, at some point I let myself admit that I mostly don't like concerts because I care about the MUSIC and I can appreciate it better at home w headphones or good speakers

I will admit that the absolute best music experiences have been in small to extremely small venues where I was close to the band (or often everyone is close). I’d rather this with a decent no name band than big concert with a ‘great’ band
