I inhibit some religious thoughts because I think they'll piss people off but i'm starting to think the bigger risk is that like, religious and spiritual thought gets wiped off the face of the earth bc we don't talk about it then again alienating people doesn't help either

e.g., i'm pretty sure I've been moved by Jesus more than... lots of Christians. Even though I can't honestly declare myself a Christian but i also have criticisms of christianity. uncomfortable, arguably rude or heretical/offensive takes. to ME, this is all part of a path...

*I* know I can appreciate Christianity & criticize it, & hold this all together. *I* know this will never stand between me & God if i try to go down this path to Him I don't think God gives a fuck if we tiptoe around conceptual/instititional religious structures that *we* built

& even the fact that I'm leaning towards Christianity in this way would make plenty of my Jewish relatives/etc uncomfortable. So i'm in a situation where many ppl that I consider potential natural allies are those I'm most likely to alienate, by doing the thing I think is right?
