,,, if small companies are just strangled in the crib, a) that causes a bunch of human suffering b) the exceptional ones can't grow big and c) we thereby lose many of the aforementioned benefits of bigcorps due to market capture

all of that, with my emphasis on 'a' Most small companies are never going to grow large ... but most kids don't win grow up to win Nobel prizes, but they still deliver a ton of value ... ESPECIALLY in the small scale, to those close to them
