For real. We got a le creuset as a gift, abused it because we didn't know what we were doing, and now it's chipping and cracking. Once we leveled up, we picked up a lodge for much cheaper and it's just as good. And I'll feel less bad if it starts cracking.

I’m Lodge but have one Cruset enamel I use for heavily acidic/tomato cooking. I don’t remember the cost being insane but it was years ago.
