i don't know i think the last two days have brought things to a head very quickly and biden is going to have an incredibly difficult time holding the center, if that is his goal (I imagine it mostly is)

it seems likely to me that it would be very foolish for the democrats to try to destroy the republican party rather than help them on their feet compare the allies after ww1 lets see whether democrats are fools i am not holding my breath
