Had a good day coding yesterday. Finished cleaning up the server side of SOAP processing, rewriting parts to use less Washout gem parsing (bc broken) and replace w Nokogiri XML parsing. Revisited my "emulate BigCo" SOAP client and got it working again after 3 months

2/ Of being broken (bc server side changes during final integration w BigCo, and schedule pressure meant that at the time I didn't have the day or two to make my client stay in sync when the server's API moved from "mostly compatible w BigCo" to ACTUALLY compatible.

3/ Then, w working client and cleaned up server, replicated a bug using two command line invocations of tool. Fixed bug, verified w command line tool, committed, closed bug. Three days total, but so satisfying.

4/ Today, taking a day off from the desk to butcher sheep, which have been hanging for 9 days, and make 50 lbs of liverwurst. Then back to homesteading book tomorrow, hopefully.
