2/ When I was a kid (c. 14 or so) I used to flip through Sears tool catalogs and dream about all the cool tools I was gonna buy someday so that I could homestead and build a house and repair my tractor and and and you know what? 35 years later I'm !@#-ing sick of spending $

3/ I mean, tools are still hella cool, and I kinda like getting new ones ... but it seems like now that I've spent $50k or $100k or whatever on tools, I should be DONE, and yet it keeps drip drip dripping

Note to self: get one of these screwdriver-like-pry-bar things.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Are you talking about a trim pry bar like you're supposed to use to undo the clips on door panels, or something else? I've seen a special tool to undo those exhaust hangers, but it's more pliers-like than screwdriver-like.

Serious question: do you think the Econ/supply chain/societywill be stable long enough that a normie like me who’s just beginning a long road toward semi-sufficiency and possibly homesteading will be able to make it?
-
Absolutely. Even a bunged up supply chain brings us back to 1980s levels. Last 20 years have been an abnormal, never before seen level of perfect inventory.
