Say I've got a ~25' tree, <1' diameter, not near any structures, with about a 220 degree range it would be convenient to fall in. Doable solo for a patient amateur?

I'm not trying to be stupid, but most of what I've read online insists that you should only attempt to fell trees that you can reach the top of before calling a professional, and that seems a little ridiculous to me.
