a tiny example: monitors "good enough" allow replacing airplane windows with monitors. this saves weight = better efficiency and also will allow seating passengers *backwards* - improving survivability in case of crash. thanks to incremental update to *monitor* tech.

I keep an OBD II is each of my vehicles. They're $20 and allow me to do diagnostics in real time, where I'm at. One tow charge would eclipse all these I'll ever buy. Couple the code with YouTube, and I can fix almost anything short of catastrophic failure. It's a marvel of tech.
