6/ almost - ALMOST - makes me want to build a CO2 concentrator, so I can make my own masking gas. Btw, for information on how gas concentrators use Vanderwall's Force and why welding companies insist that you rent tanks larger than #2, see my bookhttps://escapefromthecity.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders …

7/ what gets me here is that it's not like there's another size tank that's 16 1/2" tall. Number 1 tanks are 14" Number 2 are 17" Number 3 are 32" I say all the time "people just say things", and maybe that makes it good self-defense to not trust them when they yammer.https://twitter.com/MorlockP/status/1343576370060914689 …

8/ but this is sort of Gresham's Law of communication: when most people yammer and say "I have a number 2 tank", it means ... nothing. Therefore, when I say I have a number 2 tank ... it, apparently, ALSO means nothing.

9/ People love to hate on algorithms, but the worst thing an algorithm will do is offer me a subscription. "Oh, you like a Number 2 tank of Ar/CO2 mix once a year? Can I interest you in 40,000 feet of I-beam?" Amazon shopping history is great. Click click click.
