but, OTOH, maybe I'm still providing value?

I want to say something like, data is a commodity? meaning (the consumer-useful thing) relies on a value-add supply chain? you'd probably be better at turning this into economics words

I also suspect that your BS detector is far better calibrated than mine on farming-related subjects. All the info in your book may not be completely optimal, but it won’t be *obviously* wrong.
