2/ permit to build a driveway, even though the town has strict rules about how wide driveways need to be, what the radius and the apron have to look like, etc., and he is flat-out in violation of all three. Person X complained "this is illegal".

4/ The zoning code is 88 pages long. Section on driveway requirements is 3 pages long. I read the entire zoning code before putting an offer in on my house, 8 yrs ago. 88 pages. That's like...half an hour, max, if you skim irrelevant bits, and 1 hour, if you read every word

Hm, does your local zoning code have a rule against randomly paving a piece of your property? Because I can imagine a dodge of "That's not a driveway, I just didn't want to mow that strip. It just happens to be next to that road."
