3/ The guy who got the illegal permit defended himself: "I'm a good guy" "I just want to be a good neighbor" "The zoning code is so long that no one can read it" "Therefore I spent hours w the building inspector and she told me it was ok"

4/ The zoning code is 88 pages long. Section on driveway requirements is 3 pages long. I read the entire zoning code before putting an offer in on my house, 8 yrs ago. 88 pages. That's like...half an hour, max, if you skim irrelevant bits, and 1 hour, if you read every word

5/ Also, in what world are "I just want to be a good neighbor" and "I believe in conservation" at all relevant to the allegation "the zoning code says that driveways have to be 16' wide, and your easement, bounded by stone walls on either side, is 10' wide" ?
