2/ Eh, bordering nations manage to work stuff out most of the time. Not like Portugal and Spain, France and Andorra, etc. NEVER go to war, but mostly they manage to make stuff work.https://twitter.com/MaiqTL/status/1330586295635046401 …

Maiq T. Onesimus 🕯( 🇳🇱) @MaiqTLReplying to @MorlockPI'm mostly concerned about what will happen when there's a dispute about someone else's dirt or water. As a nation we have a civilized way of resolving those disputes. As separate entities, violence becomes a lot more of a likely resort and we just end up "united" again.5 replies 0 retweets 8 likesShow this thread -

always interesting to read americans asking how people deal with something most of the world deal with imo very similar to my frenchies asking how we pay for medical or pension stuff if it wasn't state provided while it's private in most of EU Selfcentered campanilism muc much

the more i read americans the more i'm convinced that one of their big problem when dealing with international issues is that they never had to deal with real serious neighbours and then became the bully of the highschool way too fast and easily

the rest of the world is an abstraction - people never ACTUALLY deal with it we should "just" make China or Malaysia or whatever do a thing ... because those aren't real places. At most, they're cute little tourist destinations.pic.twitter.com/v8PKlTGO5I
