Wired a battery charging lead into the tractor's electrical system this morning. That should obviate the the goat rodeo I have several times a winter trying to jump start it despite the corrosion on the copper lead clamps.
yep, know about the former, researching now (all the corrosion was on the OUTSIDE of the copper clamps, tho ; didn't interfere w powering tractor) re power poles - that's basically what I just did w the leads

the anti-corrosion grease also seals up the lead (on terminal) against oxidation, and against build-up of moisture. good investment either way.
