/ So you're arguing that people should go to college, so that they find it easier to send their own kids to college? That sounds really circular, and like it only benefits the colleges. Also, college is bad and we need less of it.https://twitter.com/izzyrose22/status/1329600705406115840?s=19 …

/ Well, that's NOT what you said, your comment was as I characterized it above. But if you want to change your argument, ok,fine. Do you have evidence that working class people don't enjoy their jobs? Do you have any evidence that they don't live well?https://twitter.com/izzyrose22/status/1329604615143362561?s=19 …

/ However, I do need to criticize the idea that one should feel "passionate" about a job. Tons of people live very very well with jobs that are...fine. Passion is for families, hobbies, and other things. It's ok for a job to just be a job.

/ College is bad for lots of reasons. Price is one. 4 years of opportunity cost is another. Majors outside of STEM teaching no useful skills is the biggest one.https://twitter.com/izzyrose22/status/1329605226505134086?s=19 …

That’s on me for not specifying which part of the working class I was talking about. I meant the working class that makes enough to live comfortably but too much for their children to qualify for financial aid & not enough to pay for a 4 year degree without going into huge debt.
