3/ Lou Ferrigno punches a hole down through the gasoline, through the metal insert, allowing the gas to mix into the 'shine, thus spoiling the entire batch. Because 1970s prime time TV.

That came up in grad school as the reason for taking samples every 10% of the container. I pointed out you just needed one each from top and bottom. But . . . regulations.
